Garlic and Mushrooms are like two peas in a pod. They make a wonderful combination. This recipe must be served piping hot. Serve immediately straight from the pan.
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
30ml sunflower oil
25g butter
5 spring onions
3 garlic cloves
450g button mushrooms
40g fresh white bread crumbs
15ml chopped parsley
30ml lemon juice
salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method:
Heat the oil and butter in a frying pan (preferably a balti, wok or cast iron frying pan). Add the spring onions and garlic and stir fry over a medium heat for 1-2 minutes.
Add the whole button mushrooms and fry over a high heat for 4-5 minutes, stirring and tossing all the time.
Stir in the bread crumbs, parsley, lemon juice and seasoning. Stir fry for a few moments until the lemon juice has been absorbed.
Serve Immediately. - Enjoy!!!
